How Do You Make A Tractor Cake?

poetry award winner Peter Matywiecki Poetry

"Stone" is the title of the debut volume of poetry of Joseph Czechowicz 1927, but also the name of the prize, awarded annually to poets at the "City of Poetry". This year the winner was Peter Matywiecki.
decoration has exactly the same shape as the first page of the volume of Lublin poet, one can say that it is his stone, "reprint." But more important is the prestige of the awards, a nie statuetka do postawienia na półce.
Jako podziękowanie read the poem "Poetry" and the second track stripped of the title. Also talked about their inspirations Czechowicz and about the person of John Singer, who married Anna Kamieńska. A poet
many interesting things said Leszek Szaruga, also a poet. He pointed out that poetry is very much like speech Matywieckiego stone - is close to the peace and silence. The power of his poetry lies in the fact that they talk about life, and describe the world in the dimension of values, where each will receive his vote there. His works prove that art is something both elusive and fleeting, but also specific. Later
recipient has read several of his works thus confirming that it fully deserves the award. On the occasion he told a few anecdotes, such as this about the song "Elevator", where he served as the inspiration for the elevator, which the poet for many years used every day for entering his apartment in a building on the floor. Interesting is also the genesis of the poem "From the sidewalk," dedicated to Richard Krynickiemu, which is often the hero of his poems are choosing a small, climbing uphill ślimaczka. Matywiecki also read a few poems hitherto unpublished, have to appear in the volume published next year. Deserve special attention because some of them refer to the biography of the poet and his Jewish roots. Its fortunes are indeed large impact on creativity - Matywiecki told about the plan to write a book to the history of the Warsaw University Library, where for many years was the librarian.
During the meeting, surprise - the Lexicon website dedicated to the poet NN Theatre. You can find there not only biographical facts about the letter but also the information about the work, reviews, and scans of covers of its publication.
