It is no secret that it came from Lublin, many talented artists. It was from this town is derived Hartwigów celebrity family, which included the poet and the photographer Edward Julia Hartwig. The "City of Poetry" appeared on occasion walking trail places connected with their lives.
Guide was Joanna Zętar, related to "Grodzka Gate Theatre NN." I would add that the guide very well prepared for their role. While walking we know not only interesting facts about siblings, but also pictures of Edward Lublin and listen to poems of Julia.
In 2006, Hartwig took a walk around Lublin exactly the same route, we passed the participants of the festival. A small group, consisting mainly of Middle School No. 19 students who came with his teacher, went out of doors Grodzka. The next stop was Old Town Square, as an important place where siblings often happened. Later we stopped at the Freedom Square to draw attention the mural with a poem Krynicki, formed several years ago during the "City of Poetry". Unfortunately, we can only imagine where he became and how exactly they look, because it still has not preserved any trace of it. We remained only a sketch showing the appearance of the barracks.
then headed toward the suburbs of Krakow, where the intersection of the Capuchin Hartwig located the later years, his bet. Today we are here ... drugstore. Then Joanna has failed us in the courtyard of the Hotel Europa, but unfortunately we had to leave pretty quickly into the parking lot, as it turned out that, according to the protection of our little trip interferes with the ongoing conference. So we moved to a narrow lane, which led to the door entrance house, where he lived Hartwigowie. Here we met an older lady who shouted the password for the Jews. Nevertheless, we managed to read some tracks. The route has failed us to the intersection and Lubartowska Kowalska, where during the war was a border of the ghetto. Place a very important symbolically. The last point of the trip was Hartwigów alley, named in honor of this worthy family several years ago. udać się na spacer śladami Hartwigów? Bo dzięki temu możemy inaczej spojrzeć na pewne miejsca mieście, poznać ich fascynującą historię. Interesująca tym bardziej, że miejsca te nie są specjalnie oznaczone i często pomijane w szlakach turystycznych.
